My uncle purchased this tractor new in 1949 in Jamestown, KS.  He was on a waiting list to receive this tractor because there was a farm machinery shortage following World War II.  He paid  $1120.00 for his new tractor.  He was still using it on the farm in 2001 when I asked to restore it.
